Funded by the World Bank, UNICEF Yemen has successfully distributed vital medicines to 2,200 primary healthcare facilities in all governorates of Yemen.
The project is part of the “emergency human capital” initiative, aimed at safeguarding Yemen’s human capital by providing fundamental services concerning health, nutrition, water, and sanitation.
The program is designed within a multi-sectoral response framework to ensure a flexible, adaptable, and comprehensive set of interventions that are effective in responding to potential emergencies and disease outbreaks.
