  • UNDP Built an Additional 15 Doctor Rooms, Benefiting More than 6,540 Women and 8,750 Men in Aden

Working with local authorities, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) built an additional 15 doctor rooms in Al-Lohoom area in Aden, benefiting more than 6,540 women and 8,750 men.

According to a tweet posted by UNDP on October 3rd ,2022, this project is implemented at a time when the health sector in Yemen is facing many difficulties in the provision of healthcare service to citizens.

The UNDP in Yemen seeks to extend its health services in all regions of Yemen, so that millions of Yemenis will have better access to critical and affordable healthcare services. Th UNDP, through its healthcare projects, aims to improve healthcare in Yemen under the difficult circumstances resulting from the ongoing conflict.
