Funded King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Emergency Reproductive Health Services Project continued providing its medical services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Abyan Governorate.

The project targets about 12,000 cases annually. It aims to save women during childbirth in remote rural areas by facilitating access to emergency obstetric care services, purchasing necessary medical equipment and supplies, providing medicines, and providing incentives for health workers in health centers.

The beneficiaries of reproductive health services reached 32,739 women from July 2022 to March 2023, in Al-Razi Hospital in Khanfar District, and the Reproductive Care Center (Motherhood and Childhood) in Zinjibar District in Abyan Governorate.

This project is part of the humanitarian work provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by KSrelief to support the Yemeni medical sector and provide basic supplies for hospitals and health facilities.
