Funded by the Rizq-ar-Rahman Charitable Foundation – Malaysia, HUMAN ACCESS implemented the winter blanket and food basket project, benefiting 480 displaced people in the Yemeni governorate of Marib.

The components of the project included the distribution of blankets and food baskets consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, legumes, sauce and dates.

The project aims to alleviate the suffering of the displaced, most of whom are women and children, who lack the most basic winter needs in the absence of many services. They further suffer during the winter season, during which the desert nature of Marib is very dry and cold.
