Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by “the Kuwaiti Association” and implemented by “Student Care Association”, the Undersecretary of Ma’rib Governorate, Dr. Abdrabbo Moftah, inaugurated “Kuwait Alternative School” for displaced students in Ma’rib Governorate. It is one of the goals of the association to improve the educational environment and reduce overcrowding in schools throughout the governorate.

The project also helps to meet the needs of displaced students in the governorate to complete their education. The school includes 10 classrooms, an administrative office and two toilets, and accommodates 700 students.

During the inauguration, Undersecretary Moftah praised the humanitarian role played by the government and people of the State of Kuwait in supporting the process of sustainable development. He also appreciated the distinguished efforts of Kuwait in supporting the educational process in Yemen.

In addition, the Deputy Director of the Education Office in Ma’rib Governorate, Abdulaziz Al-Bakeri, expressed his praise for the Kuwait Alternative School Project, which will contribute to returning many students to school. He also thanked “Student Care Association” for implementing the project.
