More than 2,200 female rural teachers in 17 governorates in Yemen have received incentives to continue teaching with the support of the UAE and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. These centers support girls’ enrollment in schools, as the opportunities available to Yemeni women have decreased in obtaining education and succeeding in their lives due to the lack of female cadres in many fields, including education.
