Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen inaugurated the reception of the second oil derivatives grant in Al-Zayt Port in Al-Buraiqa District, Aden Governorate yesterday. The grant is devoted to operate power plants in Yemen.

The grant contained about 40,000 metric tons of diesel and 30,000 metric tons of fuel oil. It aims to operate about 70 power stations and generate power for all regions of Yemen.

During the inauguration, the director of the Saudi program office in Aden, Eng. Ahmed Al-Madkhali, explained that this grant is a part of support projects which intend to achieve an urgent response to Yemenis’ demand for electricity, and to reduce their difficult living and economic burdens.
