In mid-September, the Global Charity Association for Development (Tanmia), based in Kuwait, provided funding to support laying the foundation stone for the project of the Prosthetics and Physiotherapy Center in Taiz. The project will be implemented by HUMAN ACCESS.

The project aims to provide treatment to pathological cases that require physical therapy and artificial prostheses for lost limbs. It will be implemented in three phases: the construction phase, the supply and installation of medical equipment and furniture phase, and then the operation phase. It is expected to be implemented and delivered within a year and a half.

It is worth noting that the project comes amid a population growth, the presence of people with disabilities, and other civilian cases who became disabled as a result of the armed conflict.

It is expected that this center will become a main service provider for the rest of the neighboring governorates.
