Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has implemented training courses in making pastries, sweets and other home meals. The courses targeted 3,800 people in five Yemeni governorates through the food aid-for-training project. It aims to provide the trainees in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Hadhramout and Ma’rib with skills and experience that will help them implement small projects that will help them improve their family members standard of living of and increase their income.

The project is implemented by FMF and funded by the World Food Program (WFP) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. It aims to create job opportunities to launch the people’s own small projects that help improve the income of their families.
