  • Training Course in Confectionery Industry for Women in Marib, Supported by UNFPA

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

In mid-November, the Humanitarian Access Organization launched a training course in the field of making sweets and pastries for a number of women beneficiaries in the airport area, Ma’rib Governorate. The course aimed to enable them to obtain a continuous source of income.

This is one of the activities of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project, “Safe Spaces for Women and Girls”, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The project aims to provide them with vocational skills that will make them self-reliant and productive families. It also aims to help them get involved in the labor market.
