The European Union provided 37 million euros as a new contribution to support the humanitarian response and provide emergency food assistance in Yemen, according to the World Food Program. The program said that the amount will be allocated to support the relief efforts of the World Food Program aimed at preventing famine in Yemen, by providing food or cash assistance to about 13 million food insecure people.
