The SDRPY has opened 4 new model schools in Socotra Governorate, benefiting 5,170 beneficiaries. The schools include Ali bin Abi Talib School, Moaz bin Jabal School, Qalansiya Secondary School, and Sarhan School, with the aim of supporting education and learning by providing educational opportunities for students and students and a stimulating and inclusive environment for all.

The model schools built by the program contribute to creating a good educational environment that enables schools to implement their educational programs and extra-curricular activities through facilities equipped with the highest specifications, and completely identical to the specifications applied in the Kingdom, including scientific laboratories, computer laboratories, volleyball courts and basketball courts.

The program seeks to develop schools and educational facilities to attract students and achieve the goal of providing comprehensive education for both sexes. Building schools is an investment in the most important resource, which is the human resource, specifically in children’s education, which is the main focus of human development, in addition to providing jobs through various educational institutions, and the outcomes of all of them It leads to economic development centered on the educated person, which improves the standard of living and living.

The scientific facilities and modern technologies in the model schools help in supporting extra-curricular activities and enhancing the comprehensive knowledge of male and female students, as well as enhancing the educational process and raising the level of students’ educational attainment. Equal educational opportunity for all.

The SDRPY has provided more than 204 development projects and initiatives implemented in various Yemeni governorates to serve the Yemeni brothers in 7 basic sectors, namely health, energy, transportation, water, education, agriculture and fisheries, capacity building of government institutions, in addition to development programs.
