King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has inaugurated the voluntary medical camp for neurosurgery at Ibn Sina Hospital in Mukalla, Hadramout governorate. The camp included a group of consultants and specialists in neurosurgery coming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramout commended the KSrelief’s continuous efforts and interventions in healthcare. He pointed out that the number of medical camps during one month reached five camps, including ophthalmology, open-heart surgery and other health fields.

Priority cases are scheduled for surgeries, such as brain cancer and the fixation of the vertebrae and cervical cartilage.

This campaign comes within the framework of the Saudi support provided to low-income patients in Yemen who cannot travel abroad for treatment with the aim of alleviating their suffering.
