  • Funded By the European Union, 34 Women in Hadhramout were Trained in the Fields of Manufacturing and Food Industries

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has recently carried out a training program for 34 women in Hadhramout in the fields of manufacturing and food industries, funded by the European Union (EU). This program has been implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration and in cooperation with the Small and Micro Enterprise Service (SMEPS).

This came as part of the project to strengthen institutional and economic resilience in Yemen, and aims to empower women through training them on quality control and occupational safety practices in the workplace.
