  • Child Nutrition Support Project Provides Services to 28,583 Beneficiaries in Seven Governorates

Nutrition Support Project for children under the age of five and pregnant and lactating mothers, in Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Al Hudaydah, Hadramout, Hajjah, and Marib, continues to provide its medical and nutritional services to 28,583 during the period from 7 to 13 October 2021 with the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

5.757 children were selected, 408 people with severe acute malnutrition were treated, 694 cases of moderate malnutrition were treated, in addition to providing 784 children with medical services to prevent malnutrition, while 3,219 pregnant and nursing mothers were selected. 605 women beneficiaries were provided with medical services.

4.152 women were provided with integrated management of childhood illnesses services IMCI, 10,758 women visitors benefited from awareness-raising activities, and 2,206 women benefited from counseling department.
