At the beginning of November, the Bahraini Kaaf Humanitarian Society carried out a supportive health care project to treat malnutrition in Mashra’ah wa Hadnan District, Taiz. The program aimed to provide health care services by a mobile medical team, which contribute to saving the lives of many people.

The project will last for 5 months, starting from November. It provides a number of primary and supportive healthcare services to treat malnutrition. This is done by examining and diagnosing the disease, and dispensing the necessary medicines for free to the beneficiaries of the District’s children in remote areas. In addition, it provides awareness and health education services.

The project is implemented at a time when some hard-to-reach areas lack health services. Many health facilities have also stopped functioning as a result of the ongoing conflict in the country for years.
